About Satanic Mechanic
Why Satanic Mechanic?
I used to be (and still am) a big fan of the movie "Rocky Horror Picture Show". There is one scene in which the main character, Frank'n Furter says:
"Well you got caught with a flat
Well how 'bout that
Well babies don't you panic
By the light of the night
It'll all seem alright
I'll get you a Satanic Mechanic"
Since then, I wanted to use that name, and when I started the web site some time back in 1997, I already had a name for it.
On the other hand, Russ Collins was often pictured with a coffee mug labeled "God". Well, I'm just from the other department.
Who is the Satanic Mechanic?
This is just a private web site, run by a single individual. It is fueled by the love and passion for the old Honda CB 750 SOHC/4 engine
I have been a CB 750 SOHC/4 enthusiast since 1977, when I started to build my first Seeley Honda right from scratch. I have collected a few other CB 750s over the years, most of them with special chassis. This web site was started in 1997, primarily because I was tired answering the same questions over and over, and I found there was too much knowledge not to share it.
Since then, this site has a constant flow of visitors (roughly 100 to 140 visitors per day). Thank you all for your interest! This is what keeps this site going and growing.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me by mail or use the forum.
