Gilbert Chatelard

Gilbert Chatelard was from Paris. He is another example of a small frame builder. His frame was a backbone design similar to several others. He used the backbone tube as oil resevoir.

Chatelard Honda

This bike was built by Michel RIGAUD during 1975/76. When he built the bike he had to solve some problems, like the missing speedo drive, but as the pictures prove, he did an excellent job.

Unfortunately, Michel sold the bike shortly after it was built, and lost track of the bike.

The present

Like so many others, Gilbert Chatelard vanished from the frame building scene.
